At Vs. Cancer, we’re grateful to have wonderful partners in all arenas of the sports world – including athletic apparel partner K-DEER! From donating a portion of proceeds from their Sophia Stripe legging to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, to creating custom headbands for Vs. Cancer athletes and featuring brain tumor survivor Maddie on their blog this September, K-DEER gives back to children with brain tumors not only during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, but year-round.

K-DEER believes that “the K-DEER woman is all of us, she is strong, dynamic and mindful of the world around her.” Brain tumor survivor Maddie embodies these qualities and shares in her guest article on their blog:

“I don’t know that there are many people who would say they wanted to be diagnosed with cancer, but I will say that I know that I am a cancer survivor for a reason and that my having cancer will serve a purpose: to direct my life to remove cancer from and prevent it in other children.”
