Team Up with #VsCancer for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and you can help make a difference in the lives of kids battling cancer by teaming up with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s Vs. Cancer program!
Our Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Game Plan makes it easy to get involved this month. Just follow the steps below to show you’re committed to kids with brain tumors and other types of cancer.
Did you know that only 4% of federal research funding is solely dedicated to childhood cancers? Yet more children die of cancer than any other disease. By raising awareness with Vs. Cancer during September, you’ll call attention to the critical need to fund more research and family support programs so these kids can live longer, better lives.
Our online fundraising toolkit also has customizable digital and print-out templates to help you share why you’re #vscancer!
Want to take your support one step further? Designate one of your upcoming home games as a Vs. Cancer game. Just fill out our Contact Us form at vs-cancer.org/contact and a Vs. Cancer team member will respond with info on how YOU can save kids’ lives.
As a signature fundraising campaign of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, your team’s Vs. Cancer proceeds will help fuel child life programs at your local hospital AND lifesaving research to cure pediatric brain tumors, the deadliest childhood cancer.
Thank you for being on Team #VsCancer and making a difference both on and off the field!
