Ben’s Biz Blog and Vs. Cancer Hit the Road This Summer for Children with Cancer

Blog |

Benjamin Hill is on a journey – exploring America through Minor League Baseball.  Each season, Ben’s travels take him to MiLB stadiums across the country, which he writes about on MiLB.comand Ben’s Biz Blog, offering a behind-the-scenes look at what he describes as an “extremely entertaining and often overlooked subset of the sports world.”

Ben’s 2018 tour will take on a bigger meaning, as he teams up with Vs. Cancer to help children with cancer.

He will be visiting 25 stadiums in total, reporting on what makes each team unique and raising funds for Vs. Cancer along the way. You can join him in his travels by committing to donate for each stadium he visits this baseball season. For instance, if you pledge $1 for each stadium visited, that would be a $25 donation towards his fundraising goal of $2500. It’s that simple!

“Having a fundraising component to my ballpark travels is a first for me,” he writes on Ben’s Biz Blog. “I’m looking forward to seeing how this evolves as the season goes on.”

This year’s travel begins with the Delmarva Shorbirds on May 4th and ends with the Grand Junction Rockies on September 4th. Ben will also be asking the teams he visits this season to donate to Vs. Cancer by auctioning off a unique item or finding some other creative way to be involved.

“My hope is that not only will this raise some money, but will also reflect the fun, originality and (of course) weirdness of Minor League Baseball,” Ben writes.
